Super Mario 64 fought bloody fisticuffs with Crash Bandicoot (though some would say that wasn’t much of a battle) (we’re Nintendojo, nice to meet you), while Super Smash Bros. And man, were those crazy times– Sony PlayStation, with its nifty optical disc technology, constantly loomed over N64, with its outdated cartridge format, and fanboys from both sides waged a war that nearly rivaled that of the previous generation.
